EMMERDALE (7pm ITV) ROBBIE'S short-lived career as a vodka bootlegger has seen him interrogated by surly coppers who wear their high-vis jackets indoors and are practically giggling at him behind their hands.

But on his release tonight, there's another insult waiting for him at home. Adam tells Robbie that Debbie was the dobber-in - a turn of events almost as hard for him to believe as it is to say.

CORONATION STREET (7.30pm ITV1) TINA is left feeling utterly helpless tonight when the baby - now called Jake - develops a serious condition. And poor Izzy and Gary are dumbfounded as the explanation for what's wrong with their child goes rapidly downhill from "upset tummy" to "potentially fatal" in the space of a minute.

It probably won't fill them with confidence either that their consultant uses medical terms like "necrotising enterocolitis" and babyish words like "tummy" in the same sentence.
