Strength of Nature Acquires Five Unilever Hair Care Brands.

4 December 2015 - US-based hair care company Strength of Nature has acquired the Motions, Just for Me, Consort and Groom and Clean brands from British-Dutch consumer goods company Unilever (NYSE: UN) (LSE: ULVR), the company said.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Strength of Nature also acquired the TCB brand's business in Africa, making the company full owner of TCB.

With a salon legacy, Motions has served the hair care needs of women of color for over 20 years. Just for Me is a hair care brand for kids, while both Consort and Groom and Clean are men's hair care lines.

The company said that these acquisitions complement Strength of Nature's portfolio with the goal of bringing quality products to the multicultural consumer around the world.
