Pacquiao dreams of buying NBA team after retirement.

By Brian Yalung

Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao is fresh from yet another win against previously undefeated Keith Thurman and it appears there is no slowing down the Filipino boxing icon. After displaying a vintage performance against One Time, the 40-year-old boxer-senator reportedly wants to fight until he is 45.

"I feel like young, like late 20s," said Pacquiao in an interview with TMZ Sports.

And that is not all. It looks like he already has plans once he does retire and one of them includes possibly buying an NBA franchise. It is no secret that the Pac-Man loves to play basketball and the fact that this is part of his training regimen. Also, he does own a semi-pro basketball league in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL).

In the same interview, Pacquiao feels the MPBL experience will translate perfectly into NBA ownership. Making more than $500 million in his boxing career, it may all boil down to finding the right opportunity, price, and team.
