No protocol vehicles must accompany me, directs Imran Khan.

ISLAMABAD -- Embarrassed over the media hype created over long queues of protocol vehicles, Chief of PTI Imran Khan has directed Chief Minster KP Pervaiz Khattak and other provincial administrative units that in future no protocol vehicles should accompany him.

According to sources, taking notice of a huge line of protocol vehicles accompanying him during his visit to Army Public School, Imran Khan told KP CM that he had always directed against any protocol for him when he is on a visit to Peshawar and neither he wants any administrative machinery to travel with him.

Reprimanding CM KP over causing him embarrassment Khan said that all party office bearers should be made clear that he does not want to be accompanied by any MPA or minister in their expensive vehicles during his travel otherwise strict action would be taken.

Imran Khan also ordered against any welcoming convey when he arrives at airport from abroad.

CM KP making his position clear said that one of the reasons that the convey accompanying Khan became so huge was that some MPAs and Speaker KP came in their own vehicles. However Imran Kahn dismissed the excuse and warned against any such future incidents
