Microsoft launches most awaited Azure Backup and Recovery.

Byline: _

Microsoft Corporation has announced it latest plans for Azure Backup and Azure site recovery which will see more features for recovery and back up for enterprise, public and private cloud networks.

Azure is Microsft's Cloud service. The company says, that service will provide extra aid to enterprise and private users who use cloud services to manage their data with a hybrid Cloud plan. Moving data around the cloud service will be made easier. Users who download the latest Azure update will be able to create online back ups of the machine's operating system, be it Windows or Linux VMs. It will be placed in an Infrastructure as a Service set-up and brought back to life when required.

The new features are basically constructed to lend help towards Azure users who have experienced the loss of their data. The new updates are to prevent that happening using tools such as disaster recovery, cloud bursting, analytics backup, migration, testing and developing.

Tools such as Azure Import/Export will allow users to hold back ups at the nearest Azure data center, for when an enterprise network becomes clogged up. Azure Data Recovery Site is a disaster recovery site that can shield VMware virtual machines and physical servers. Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) has stated that the new features will offer near-zeropoint-objective which means that the data is reflected to the offsite location again and again. Data loss can now be minimized via options to modify the site recovery and convert back to on-site data center settings. Users can also get new versions of apps and add them to their relocation plan.

The Azure API Management Premium service is now up and running. API Management can be hosted on different Azure datacenters andmatch them in multiple regions automatically. Azure Active Director can now deploy automatic password rollover for social media accounts to prevent them being hacked and taken over; with multifactor access for more fragile accounts. The new Azure updates are a response from the software giant to the requests and pleas of their users such as enterprise users and IT professionals, so they don't lose their data without a struggle.
