Martin has key for funds.

A pianist is offering his services free of charge for Comic Relief.

Classically-trained Martin Dack, pictured, recently stepped away from a successful teaching career to devote more time to music.

With extensive experience of playing with professional opera groups, choirs, musical theatre, dance schools and solo singers, he has gained a reputation as a talented accompanist.

But on Comic Relief Day, Friday March 16, he wants to do it purely for fun.

Martin, of Wilton Village, said: "If anyone is thinking of organising an event to raise money for Comic Relief this year, I'd be more than happy to come along and play for as long as they like, either all day or all evening. It could be an office, a supermarket, a restaurant, a hotel, anything really. I'm completely open to ideas."

Martin has a huge repertoire of musical style, from grand opera and jazz, to modern day classics. He said: "People love live music. "

His recent work includes a production of Carmen at Northumbria University.

He is also one of the accompanists for Sing Live UK.
