Man who killed Russian citizen arrested in Sumgayit - Official.

Criminal case launched regarding the murder committed in Sumgayit, APA reports citing press service of Chief Prosecutor's Office.

Criminal case has been launched under Article 120.1 (deliberate murder) of the Criminal Code at the Prosecutor' Office of Sumgayit on the deliberate murder of Bislan Bakayev, who lived in a rented apartment in the settlement of H.Z. Tagiyev, while relevant expertise appointed.

As a result of urgent investigative measures and operational-search actions of police and Prosecutor, Mukhtarov Tural Arif oghlu born in 1987 suspected in deliberate murder of B.Bakayev was detained and a criminal tool of 1 pcs knife was confiscated as material proof.

Currently, important investigative actions on the case continue.

Note that Bislan Bakayev was a citizen of Chechen Republic of the Russian Federation.
