DC Larkana inspects Moria loop bund, Aakil-Aghani loop bund.

LARKANA -- Deputy Commissioner Larkana Kahsif Ali Tipu along-with officials of Irrigation and Revenue Departments visited the Moria Loop Bund and Aakil-Aagani bund here on Monday and reviewed the flood fighting arrangements made by Irrigation department and District Administration.

On the occasion Deputy Commissioner Larkana was briefed by Official of Irrigation department. The officials also told him that a comprehensive flood fighting plan has been devised and all concerned staff are ready to face the challenge.

The Deputy Commissioner Larkana directed the Irrigation officers that all out efforts should be made to face the emergency of monsoon heavy rain and flood in this area.

Deputy Commissioner directed the officers of Irrigation department of Larkana district that they should realize their responsibilities, redouble their efforts and strengthen the sensitive points along the protective Bunds.

Any kind of slackness in this regard will not be tolerated at any cost, he warned and directed increasing patrolling and monitoring along the bunds round-the-clock.

He said that Revenue and Irrigation Departments have established flood monitoring camps in all sensitive embankments to face any untoward situation.
