TONY Williams, of Huyton, emails: "Will, you complain that John Prescott is rude to journalists (ECHO, May 4), yet you, the press men, happily mock and deride him for events in his personal life.

"One gutter newspaper, which shall remain nameless, even went to great lengths to report on the size of his manhood. How pathetic."

WB: I never wrote a word about his manhood. It was you who started harping on about "great lengths". It's not my fault the man has a chipolata on his shoulder.
