Arab Summit: Arab Ministers of Trade, Economy and Finance in conclave.

(TAP) - Arab Ministers of Trade, Economy and Finance are in conclave, Thursday, to discuss economic and social decisions issued from the preparatory meeting ahead of the 30th Arab Summit, due March 31 in Tunis.

The meeting is held at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab Interior Ministers in Tunis following the meeting, Tuesday, between the senior officials of the Economic and Social Council (ESC) during which was adopted the agenda of the economic and social file submitted by the ESC to the Arab League Council.

This file includes 11 themes, including the report of the Secretary-General on the Arab common economic and social action, the annex of the periodical holding of the Arab summit, the executive plan of the Arab strategy of housing and sustainable urban development and the Arab strategy of the elderly.

The participants are currently discussing the report of the Secretary-General on Arab economic and social action and the report on the follow-up to the 29 decisions of the Arab League Council at the summit level, as well as other issues related to the Palestinian national enterprise for economic empowerment, in addition to the focus on the executive plan of the Arab strategy for housing and sustainable urban development.
