The display notch, which is also referred to as display cutout, will apparently work seamlessly for apps and the smartphone's
status bar. Google says that developers will have control over the
status bar to accommodate the size of the notch so they can avoid letterboxing (black bars) when showing content.
The company, which is offing free repairs for the issue and will reimburse owners who already got the issue fixed, said, "Apple has determined that a small percentage of iPhone 7 devices may show 'No Service' in the

Press the F8 key, and "Extend Selection" will appear in the
Status Bar at the bottom of Excel.
