Get Great Playing Comfort and Great Tone

Ernie Ball strings have been a top choice for players of all types since the early 1960s, when guitarists came into Ernie Ball's music store, customizing their string gauges to make their axes easier to play. After fruitless attempts to interest major guitar manufacturers in a lighter set of strings, Ernie Ball decided to start making his own. When you open a pack of his strings today, you know you're getting a quality set of strings designed to give you great tone, reliable performance, and long life. You can't go wrong when you string up with Ernie Ball strings!

Ernie Ball M-Steel (maraging steel) strings are made of a superalloy used in aerospace and defense applications. The super cobalt alloy wraps around the maraging steel hex core wire to give you a rich, full tone. You'll feel a more powerful low-end response and hear increased output from this set of strings in the popular .009-.042 Super Slinky gauge combinations.

My new favorites!
Been playing guitar for about 35 years, I was a lifelong GHS Boomer guy! One day I had a little extra money and I had been seeing these and thought I will give them a try. Let me tell you these strings are the loudest string that I've used they also don't need to be stretched after tuning them up two times they are good to go and they never go out of tune! But let me tell you they are louder than any other string I have tried and 35 years I have tried a few different sets! Get yourself a set you won't be disappointed!!!

Best set of M-Steel's I have tried yet!
I still do not know what makes the M-Steel strings different than other strings save for these are very hard to break. They do not take forever to stretch the slack out of when installing a fresh set of these either. I am a big fan of these!

These became my favorite strings
I'm a pro guitarist with 25+ years experience in rock. I've played just about every type of guitar string. I was playing cheapie regular slinky and super slinky, and Nickel XL for a while to save money because I like to change my strings once every week or two. I tried GHS Boomers but they broke too easily. My guitar set up is best suited for 9-42.

I had heard about the M Steel decided to splurge. I had felt that they probably were just going to be another decent guitar string. Boy was I wrong.

The bass tones are very pronouced. They are bigger, fuller and very tight. They were louder. Not just turning up the volume louder but creating more of a volume bump within the even harmonics.

They are really touch sensitive, a joy to play.

They worth the extra couple of bucks.

I had heard that with the M Steel technology that it tames some of the highs. I didn't find this to be the case. It was a well rounded and evenly eq'd sound from bass, mid, and leads.

If you hesitating pick these strings up. You won't be disappointed.

Absolutely Amazing
I have seen these strings advertised for a while now but have never bought any of them before now. $12.99 is a lot more than most sets of strings and I was afraid they would not live up to all the hype. I finally decided to bite the bullet and buy a set, boy am I glad I did. To me they sound and play absolutely amazing. After that first set I ordered several more sets and installed them on some of my other guitars. I have now found my new favorite set of strings, just wish they were a little less expensive.
Music background: I've been playing guitar for 48+ years mostly Blues and Rock, but starting to play a little bit of Jazz now.

Fantastic Strings
I have had these strings on my Strat for about 5 weeks and they still sound as good as when I first put them on. They stay in tune, once tuned up they stay that way, I've been performing in clubs about 53 years now and except for one brand of string that are not made anymore these have been the best. Way to go Ernie Ball.
