Get Great Playing Comfort and Great Tone with Slinky Strings!

Ernie Ball strings have been a top choice for players of all types since the early 1960s, when guitarists came into Ernie Ball's music store, customizing their string gauges to make their axes easier to play. After fruitless attempts to interest major guitar manufacturers in a lighter set of strings, Ernie Ball decided to start making his own. When you open a pack of his strings today, you know you're getting a quality set of strings designed to give you great tone, reliable performance, and long life. You can't go wrong when you string up with Ernie Ball strings!

Ernie Ball M-Steel (maraging steel) strings are made of a superalloy used in aerospace and defense applications. The super cobalt alloy wraps around the maraging steel hex core wire to give you a rich, full tone. You'll feel a more powerful low-end response and hear increased output from this set of strings in the popular .010-.046 Regular Slinky gauge combinations.

Annoyingly good strings
I wanted to hate these strings given the price (and return to my normal EBs). Unfortunately for my wallet, they're the best strings I've ever used and the difference is clear, especially on the lower strings

Wow! They’re great!
When saw something about the M-Steel strings, I was sure that there was no way that strings actually produce a higher output. Boy was I wrong, The strings really do sound great!
I already use Ernie Ball slinkies 10-46, and decided to to try them. You won’t be let down if you try these, even if it is a little extra money to buy them.
Music background: Playing for 20 years.

Guitar strings
On my Gretsch Electromatic Jet Club in Firebird red.
Not ordinary strings! The best strings I've ever had the joy to play on a guitar.
A bit on the expensive side, ya get what ya pay for! And the best choice of guitar strings.
I will be using them again. I got my Dunlop Pegwinder in the mail today, and l really don't know when l'll be able to use it because the strings seem like they will last almost forever. What ever kind of music l play, well being on the instrument l play, just exellent! Brings out the sound of a Gretsch guitar! All l had to do was make a couple of adjustments on the pickup hight and bridge and slight adjustment with the truss rod.
Buy a set and try for yourself, will not be dissapointed! I was going to give it a bad review just so you could keep them in stock, but as l said it will be a good while, cause they will last a long time!
Thank you Sweetwater, and Mr. Wichter.

Best set of M-Steel's I have tried yet!
I still do not know what makes the M-Steel strings different than other strings save for these are very hard to break. They do not take forever to stretch the slack out of when installing a fresh set of these either. I am a big fan of these!
Music background: Anything with strings.

Update: Beware fret grinding
I'm really torn on these strings. They sound wonderful and I've yet to break one. However, while I can get used to the severe finger wear from the harsh texture (which frankly I like), my frets can't say the same. After using these for 6 months, I'm seeing abnormally fast wear on my frets. If you have SS frets, these are probably perfect. Otherwise, I suggest being careful.
