Great for PRS guitars
while primarily a Strat player i used Ernie Ball Skinny Top, Heavy Bottom (dark orange package) which on a Strat length neck gives great tension when you grab power chords but still allows you to bend the higher strings with ease.
i was a bit lost with my first 2 PRS guitars since their neck length is between that of Strat and Gibson, but after i found these strings the hunt is over. same great tension on the thicker strings but with a shorter length neck the 10.5 e-string and proportioned gauges have made me a fan. if you never could get used to 11s on a PRS then this is the ticket - 10s are usually too flimsy.

Intonation Nightmare
I like to play different tensions a lot as they alter my playing style. Love my GHS Gilmours, but these just could not get intonated, no matter what tuning I used. Something seems off. On my Ibanez I have it in Open G with the low E tuned down to C for one finger power chords. The tension felt looser with the .52 that low than the .46 I currently put on to test this. Both Ernie Balls.
I admire them for venturing into new gauges, tho, this one was a miss for me. Wouldn't mind if GHS took some more chances. They have my favorite feel. Second would be the NYXLs. Hope D'Addario does more with them. For now I'll mix and match.
Not so great.
The first 10.5 and second 13.5 strings aren't to bad for sound. The rest and kind of clunky and dead sounding. I wanted to buy a new set of Gibson classics that came with the Les Paul but couldn't find them locally. I wouldn't buy these again.
