Core Z690 NUC Workstation
This small form factor system features Intel’s Core 13th Gen processor platform with their NUC 13 Extreme compute element and chassis. The Core line is Intel’s mainstream CPU family, offering up to 32 threads on an affordable platform.
Overview
This system is built inside the NUC Extreme chassis, which is shaped like a miniature tower PC with USB and audio ports along the top edge. The compute unit’s rear I/O panel provides more USB ports, Thunderbolt 4, additional audio connectivity, and both 2.5 & 10Gb Ethernet and WiFi for networking. Space inside the case is limited, due to its small size, but there is a PCI-Express slot and room for one video card. For memory and storage, up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM, two SATA SSDs, and three NVMe SSDs are supported. Three fans are installed to keep components cool without being too loud.
