Star Wars: Unlimited, the impressive TCG from Fantasy Flight Games, is getting its first expansion on July 12. Shadows of the Galaxy will launch with the same straightforward formats as the initial Star Wars: Unlimited set, with just a two-player starter kit and Booster Packs available to pre-order. Both formats are only available to pre-order in limited quantities, but we’ve tracked down a couple of online retailers where you can reserve the new set.

As with its original set, Sparks of Rebellion, Shadows of the Galaxy will launch with a Two-Player Starter Kit to introduce new players to the world of Star Wars: Unlimited. As the name suggests, each Starter Kit contains two pre-constructed, 50-card decks that are ready to play out of the box, along with an additional ten cards that can’t be found in Booster Packs. Each Shadows of the Galaxy Starter Kit also includes a single Booster Pack to jumpstart your collection. The $34.99 Two-Player Starter Kit is currently available to pre-order from Miniature Market, and is sold out on the Asmodee website.

Shadows of the Galaxy Booster Packs

Booster Packs are the only way to grow your Star Wars: Unlimited collection, and Shadows of the Galaxy Booster Packs are the only way to get your hands on cards from the new expansion. Each pack features 16 cards, including nine commons, three uncommons, a leader card, a base token card, and a single rare or legendary card in addition to one foil card. Miniature Market is the only online retailer carrying Booster Boxes, but they’re currently unavailable to pre-order. However, we’ll update this page as they become more widely available.
