Like a Dragon: Ishin! proširuje svog prethodnika iz 2014. koji je bio namijenjen samo Japanu. Podržava lokalizaciju, donosi potpuno novi sadržaj, izvrsno prerađenu grafiku i poboljšane mogućnosti za moderne platforme u sklopu modula Unreal Engine 4.

Kyoto iz 1860-tih godina muči široko rasprostranjena nejednakost, a jedan će samuraj promijeniti tijek povijesti u svojoj potrazi za pravdom.
