James Harden, one of the N.B.A.’s biggest stars, apologized to Chinese fans after Daryl Morey, the general manager of the Houston Rockets, posted a tweet in support of Hong Kong’s pro-democracy protests.
We apologize. You know, you know we love China. We love, you know, playing there. I know for both of us individually we go there, you know, once or twice a year. And, you know, we appreciate their support that they give us individually and as an organization. So you know, we love you.
