Program is packed with Pyinstaller (--onefile feature) - for better user experience. (packs all files into a single .exe file- u wont need loose folders etc.) which sometime may gives a false positive when checked by some antivirus programs. - is 100% safe to use.
To avoid this i could buy a digital signature CA - THAT WAY VIRUS PROGRAMS MARKS PROGRAM AS SAFE. it will cost 300-400 dollars.
I earn nothing on this program and just made it for myself for easier conversion between DDS and PNG files when upscaling textures from 2k to 4k on mods. Thought maybe it will be usefull for other artists out there or the average joe, and offer it 100% free of charge for everyone to use. :)

It supports both single file and batch conversions, providing an intuitive graphical user interface (GUI) that dynamically resizes and remembers the user's last-used directories.

Technologies Used
  • Programming Language: Python
  • GUI Framework: Tkinter (enhanced with ttkthemes for improved styling)
  • Image Processing Library: Python Imaging Library (PIL) via the Pillow library
  • Threading: Used for asynchronous operations to ensure the GUI remains responsive during conversions
  • Configuration Management: JSON for storing and loading persistent user settings
