Nightgate Inn Revived

An overhaul of the lonely small inn situated in the roads between Dawnstar and Windhelm. A brief respite for wayfarers and adventurers, it's a simple inn without too much luxury.




Covering both interior and exterior areas, this mod features:

  • New building models courtesy of JPSteel's Cities of the North assets. Incorporating a mix of Dawnstar & Windhelm architecture styles.
  • A revamped exterior with carefully placed clutter and architecture. The outside features an outhouse, stables and butcher shack.
  • A fully redesigned cellar & interior with two additional rooms and a cozy central fireplace.
  • Performance-friendly, with occlusion planes and a sensible amount of objects.

~ Compatibility ~

This mod is standalone but it's best used alongside Cities of the North and the Lux series.
This mod will not be compatible with other mods that modify the same location. A patch will be needed to resolve conflicts.
There are no landscape edits, and only edits existing vanilla navmesh.
This mod is purely a visual overhaul, it does not edit NPCs or quests. (aside from moving NPCs and markers)

If a patch is not available, feel free to make your own.
Patching should be simple for most mods, just a matter of moving mod stuff from the vanilla interior to the new one.

Optional Addons:
  • COTN Dawnstar - Unique Door Design: Standalone and No ESP. Adds an INI file to add the unique Dawnstar doors to the Nightgate Inn. Requires Base Object Swapper

  • Enhanced Lights & FX: Applies ELFX's lighting effects and placement in the new interior

  • Immersive Citizens - AI Overhaul: Forwards navmesh records and ownership edits, reverted bedroll back to a regular bed and moves markers into new interior
  • Immersive Laundry: Adjusts laundry models to fit the new exterior
  • Immersive Wenches: Shifts NPC markers into new interior
  • Interesting NPCs: Moves NPCs, adjusts quest markers and furniture
  • Keep it Clean: Forwards navmesh, integrates new load door in the cellar
  • Lanterns of Skyrim II: Replaces lanterns and exterior light sources with LoS II assets
  • Legacy of the Dragonborn: Moves NPCs, markers, notes and chest
  • Lux:  Removes vanilla lighting and applies Lux's lighting instead. Big thanks to GGUNIT for providing this patch!
  • Lux Orbis: Replaces lanterns and exterior light sources with Lux Orbis assets
  • Memorable Bounties: Forwards an edit to a bench (Patch by ChickenMike)
  • No snow under the roof: Disables old snow piles clipping into new exterior. Thank you ApocryphaNG for providing this patch!
  • Skyrim Artwork Imports: Repositions the mod's paintings to new interior
  • Skyrim Unbound Reborn: Moves a marker into the new interior
  • Skyrim Underground: Moves a trapdoor into the new cellar, navmesh resolution

~ Installation ~

Simply install with mod manager like any other mod.
Then, install the patches FOMOD and select your appropriate patches.
It is not recommended to install or uninstall this mod mid-game.
Sort with LOOT.

For Cutting Room Floor users ensure that the Nightgate Inn Revived - Lux Orbis - CRF.esp loads after Lux Orbis - Cutting room floor patch.esp
