About this mod

These are a series of game saves that take you to some harder to find maps; I have 5 files currently, 4 maps individually or all 4 maps together.

Permissions and credits
I wanted to make a little note about my saves over other save game files. My method doesn't overwrite your characters, items or achievements. Mine are basically short cuts to get you to a map that has something you need. Not a cheated saved game file that overwrites your characters.

First and most important is make a copy of your saved files, if you don't know where they are do a google search.
These saved games are all apocalypse level.

A little knowledge about the way games are saved in remnant 2.
Remnant 2 Saves player stats and map stats in different files, I suspect it is easier for multiplayer this way.

profile.sav contains all your player stats for all your characters.
* save_0.sav, save_1.sav, save_2.sav, save_3.sav and save_4.sav  These files hold all of your current map progression including items, achievements, traits, bosses and mobs.

You can swap out save_X.sav  with any other save_X.sav simply by changing the number to the saved characters. To find out what slot a character is in it is best to log in to that character so it updates the save file. then you can sort the directory by time and see what save file was updated. For example I have a character that uses save_3.save for its map saves, but I want it to get to a dungeon that save 0 has. Move your saved file you plan to change. In this case save_3.save - so you have a way to change back. Make a copy of save_0.sav and rename it to save_3.sav. Once you enter the game on char 4 you will see it is on the same maps and progression of slot 1.

Keep in mind that anything done, bosses killed, Maps cleared or items picked up on a save will be completed if you use that saved file for another character so it is best to save hard to find maps right when you get to the stone in the beginning of the map.

These files are just some of the locations I have saved for my self to help make leveling an alt. It is just 4 maps currently but may expand as needed.

Meidra secrete weapon Traits only.

Meidra Question Rewards:

  • If you pick answers that align with the Doe (avoiding killing where possible, acting generically "good"), you'll get the Barkskin Trait. This offers +1% damage reduction per point, up to +10 DR.
  • If you pick answers that align with the Ravager (killing when you could potentially avoid violence, going against people's wishes even if it could lead to a good outcome), you'll get the Bloodstream Trait. This increases Grey Health Regeneration by 0.3/s per point, up to 3/s Gray Health Regeneration.

Also if you have Tear of Kaeula

Once you've made your choices above and landed on Doe/Ravager, she'll tell you a story and then ask you about a ring you (may) have. That ring, the Tear of Kaeula belonged to her sister, who you defeated in the previous area. Answer correctly and you'll have 2 choices in front of you:
  • [Give Tear of Kaeula] - Receive Sorrow Handgun -  Damage 45, RPS 2.6, Magazine 5
  • [Keep Tear of Kaeula] - Keep Ring -  Increases Relic capacity by 2 while equipped
