Just some portraits I whipped up from photo reference in my spare time. I'm still learning how to emulate the style used for the portraits in the game, so they're of varying quality, but I'm getting there. Just figured I'd share them in case anyone else was interested. Watercolor portrait variants included, but i gotta warn you that I haven't figured out how to perfectly emulate the way they do it in the game so it might look a little bit off. It looks like a multiply layer but multiply looks too dark and normal with decreased opacity looks too saturated to be right so.....idk.
To install, simply unzip the portrait file and drag and drop the images into Pillars of Eternity II>PillarsOfEternityII_Data>gui>portraits>male or female. The filenames are all watcher#_lg etc so if you want them to actually be organized you'll have to rename them before dropping them in. I don't personally give enough of a shit but if you're really organized or have a lot of portraits already you might want to consider that.
if you have any portrait suggestions feel free to let me know, i know there's a shortage of orlan portraits so i'm probably going to work on a couple of those next, but idk what kind. some male amaua portraits too maybe bc theres a shortage of that. not really interested in drawing any elf chicks (bc theres an absolute surplus of That Kind Of Image) but ill do it if the idea is cool.
as an aside ive only used these myself and i've never posted anything here before so...while custom portrait shit seems like it should be so simple that a chimp couldn't fuck it up, i might actually be the chimp fucking it up, so let me know and everything.
