[Additional Recommmended Mods]

The Frontier - Liberated : Disables quests and items from The Frontier bothering players who DON'T want to go to The Frontier but DO want to play with cars.
https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/84973

The Frontier - Bonus Cars
: Adds a few new vehicles to the Mojave Worldspace, inlcuding Taxis, Corvega Atomic V8s, and a driveable Vikki & Vance Death Car.
https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/85616/

Cars in Wastelands LITE : Places existing drivable vehicles around the Wastelands, and places NPC vendors who can sell Fuel and Tools to the player. Previously TheZomX's project, slimmed down and improved.
https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/85577

The Frontier - Learn To Drive : Implements a Perk-based check for being able to operate vehicles, which can be learned from a mid-to-late-game NPC/Trainer. It's like Power Armor Training but for Vehicles!

[What It Does]

Adds a new type of driveable vehicle to the wastelands: the Land Roamer, which is a Jeep-like Pre-War Off-Road vehicle. Small, yet capable. Nimble, yet rugged. What will you do with it?

A small handfull of these survived the post-nuclear destruction caused by The Great War. While a common sight in later installments, they lack that presence in FO3 and NV. This mod aims to change that.

Some can be found around various Military establishments. Others, near camping grounds in the wilderness. There's also rumors that someone has upkept a unique one in a barn somewhere... Will you learn of its location?

In addition to adding the vehicle to the Mojave Wasteland, the FOMOD Installer also includes compatibility options for placing them in the Capital Wasteland, as well as naming them differently if you want.

As usual, there are also EZFuel files that adjust the fuel drain rate compared to the default 3.174 scalar. I recommend using the 1.000 versions if you're doing a decent amount of driving.

Lastly, there is a cross-compatiblity element between this mod and The Frontier - Learn To Drive (which recently had it's FOMOD updated to work properly), but isn't required to fully enjoy either of the mods.

There's also a "Spoilers" document separate of the main ReadMe file, so please consider checking it out if you want to know where all the new vehicles are placed.

All of this is handled and installed using a dedicated FOMOD Installer.

[How To Install / Load Order Placement]

Use ModOrganizer2 or a Mod Manager, preferably MO2.
Open the .7z with MO2 directly, follow the steps presented by the FOMOD installer.
Once installation is complete, place the resulting "VV_LandRoamer_DriveableJeep.esp" below TFHotFixes.esp and any other mods that add vehicles to or otherwise modify The Frontier.esm .

[How To Un-Install]

Use ModOrganizer2 or a Mod Manager, preferably MO2.
Toggle the Mod as Disabled. The Jeeps are gone again! Sad times.

YOU! For downloading, trying out, and enjoying this mod!

Thank you all!

[Conclusion]

This took nearly a week to get sorted out, countless hours of tweaking and adjusting the models and textures and handling...

After all that work, I do need a break, a breather, and a lot of time to catch up on things I've been missing out on.

I really hope this brings people some joy, and gives them a good opportunity to roam the wastelands in a fun, new way.

Anyways, thank you for reading, enjoy, and have fun!
