This Script Runner lets companions heal over time & their limb condition be restored. It’s set up to restore health & limbs 1 point at a time, but you change this in the CompanionHealingFactor.ini. I made it for Hardcore to use with No Combat Recovery & other mods that keep them from fully restoring health/limb condition after a battle (JIP Companions Command and Control). The goal was to incentivize healing companions between & during firefights, but let them heal on their own time, instead of being stuck at death’s door (assuming they have supplies of their own to heal/dress their wounds or at least dirt to rub on them lol). Sometimes healing doesn’t kick in until moving into a new interior/exterior, which I assume is Script Runner shenanigans.
Just use MO2 & activate it, specifically this fork, Mod Organizer 2 - ModdingLinked Edition, but you can just sling it into your data folder. Please check & make sure you have the listed requirements. This should affect mod-added companions, but they will need to have the Companion Suite perk. There'll be no lingering effects, if you choose to uninstall.
