Consider this to be a proof of concept. There are many issues still to work out, but since I do not currently have a lot of time to dedicate to this project, and I already managed to solve the asset use issue, I wanted to at least put something out there instead of holding off in favor of a more polished product that I may never finish. If anyone would like to contribute to or extend this mod's features and assets, you are welcome to do that. Keep in mind that modified Oblivion assets cannot be directly shared, so there will have to be a way for end users to patch files themselves if you need to make further changes.

The conversion guide is available for download. You MUST follow it carefully in order to install this mod.

Current features:
  • A horse companion in Goodsprings
  • Fairly smooth riding controls using WASD
  • Mounting & dismounting using the Shift+E & Z keys, respectively.
