About this mod

An ESPless recreation of Skill Based Perks. According to the original mod, it: "Grants certain perks for free as you raise your skills."

This mod is now more than an ESPless recreation of the same mod, without using any actual part of it. Compatible with mods that edit those perks, no patches necessary.
As of 2.0, all DLC's have a perk or two incorporated now. All perks are still optional.
Skill requirements match their vanilla values. Can still be edited to a lower or higher number as you see fit.


Usage
You will receive the applicable perks when you reach the correct Skill threshold.
If you enable SPECIAL checking in the config, you will receive the applicable perks only when you reach the correct SPECIAL AND Skill.
If you enable Level checking in the config, you will receive the applicable perks only when you reach the correct Level AND Skill.
If you enable SPECIAL checking and Level checking in the config, you will receive the applicable perks only when you reach the correct SPECIAL AND Level AND Skill.



Install Instructions
Install the mod requirements and then install the mod using a mod manager via the FOMOD.  

Update Instructions
Completely uninstall the mod via Mod Manager. Then follow install directions as normal




Perk Control
You can modify which perks get granted to you, whether or not they are player level locked, the player level they are granted at, the skill level they are granted at, whether they are SPECIAL locked, the SPECIAL level they are granted at, and what kind of notification you want to see when you get a perk via the mod, by editing the ini files of this mod:

To disable a perk being given to you by the mod, for a given perk, change this:
b[PERKNAME]Allowed=1
to:
b[PERKNAME]Allowed=0

EXAMPLE:

To disable the Long Haul perk being added, change the line:
bLongHaulAllowed=1
to:
bLongHaulAllowed=0

If you prefer message boxes to notifications, change the line:
bNotificationMSG=1
to:
bNotificationMSG=0

You might do this because message boxes pause the game, so they're hard to miss. While notifications do not pause the game, so you might miss them.

Compatibility
Technically not compatible with mods that permanently modify your Skills, though nothing bad will happen in any permanent way. You'll just gain and lose perks you shouldn't based on what the other mod is doing when it's messing with your skills.
