Since the dusters are unlocked by completing the hardest DLC, I think they really need to be on-par with the best light armors in the game and not be a simple vanity item. Now it's actually worth using them.
This simple scriptrunner changes all the Lonesome Road Courier Dusters' DT from 13 to 16 - and to balance things out, it increases the weight from 3 to 12. They retain their individual bonuses (ex. NCR gives +1 END and +25 Carry weight).
To revert any changes you don't like (like the extra weight for example), just open the .txt file and modify it - it's very intuitive. Be sure to install all requirements beforehand, if you haven't already!
