A long, long time ago, in a PM far, far away, Bottletopman came up with an idea, and this is the result of it after I could be arsed to upload it (and ShowOff made a new OnFireWeapon handler that works in god mode).
I'd love to end the description there, and since there's nothing stopping me from doing just that, I won't do it.
The Gun Runner's Arsenal DLC added variants of the energy guns (Laser Pistol, Plasma Pistol, Plasma Defender) which not only had weapon mods available, but also used new firing sounds from the DLC for some reason. There are many mods that integrate the GRA and vanilla variants such that they both can use the same mods, or one type is used to the exclusion of the other, such as that usually either the vanilla or GRA sounds end up going unused and unheard.
This scriptrunner removes the firing sounds from both the vanilla and GRA weapons, and plays them from a handler instead. The vanilla sounds are used unless the weapon has a specific mod slot installed, which correspond to these GRA weapon mods:
Laser Pistol Focus Optics
Plasma Pistol Hi-Energy Ionizer
Plasma Defender Sheath Stabilizer
These will make the GRA sounds come into effect. I wish that was enough to convey to you what this mod does, but nooooo, I had to make a video literally taking up millions of times the storage of this text file to "sell" this whole thing. Hope you enjoy it.
