A new feature as well as script optimizations courtesy of Sweet6Shooter, introducing a small AP cost for early blocking based on weapon weight.
Description:
Inspired by the old Block Parry and Cancel Attack mod for Oblivion, SMAC allows players to interrupt melee/unarmed attacks midswing by blocking. This changes the role of blocking and flow of melee duels, rewarding reflexes, and a more reactive approach to defense.
At the moment, this ability is available as soon as the mod is installed.
Highlights:
- Compatibility with kNVSE and replacer animations
- All melee and unarmed weapons are supported, including modded weapons
- ESP-less and implemented with Event Handlers for a lightweight, performance-friendly scripting footprint
- Plug-and-Play. No settings you'd be tempted to tweak or hotkeys to remember. Can be uninstalled without mucking up saves.
