This mod addresses the issue of certain Misc items being excessively weighty and consuming a considerable amount of valuable inventory space. This situation could otherwise be dedicated to essential items such as gear and armor. That's why I've endeavored to alleviate this concern by reducing the weight of select Misc items. While these items still retain some weight, they are now lighter, enabling you to amass a larger collection without compromising your inventory capacity. This modification grants players greater freedom to carry more while maintaining equilibrium.

HOW TO INSTALL: 

  • Download the mod file for ''DUST Lighter Crafting Misc Items.''
  • Locate your Fallout: New Vegas data folder (usually at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas\Data).
  • Simply drop the mod file into the "Data" folder.
  • Fire up the Fallout: New Vegas Launcher.
  • In the Launcher, seek out ''Data Files'' or ''Plugins'' (depending on your Fallout: New Vegas version).
  • Find ''DUST Lighter Crafting Misc Items'' on the mod list.
  • Give that mod a satisfying checkmark to enable it.
  • Seal the deal by clicking ''OK'' or ''Apply'' to confirm your choice.

This was playtested using DUST in Mind but not other mods that could change the items weight or something they might conflict or overwrite this mod 


HOW TO UNISTALL: 

  • Navigate to your Fallout: New Vegas data folder, typically located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas\Data.

  • Look for the mod file named "DUST Lighter Crafting Misc Items."

  • Delete the "DUST Lighter Crafting Misc Items" file from the "Data" folder.

  • Launch the Fallout: New Vegas Launcher.

  • Click on "Data Files" or "Plugins."

  • Ensure that the checkbox next to "DUST Lighter Crafting Misc Items" is unchecked.

  • Click "OK" or "Apply" to confirm your changes.
