Some animation mods (particularly for melee weapons) cause clipping with hand held Pip-Boys.

This is a super simple scriptrunner to fix clipping issues when using custom weapon animations alongside a handheld Pip-Boy mod. Simply hides the player's weapon when the Pip-Boy is open. Fixes issues such as weapons clipping through the entire screen making menus unusable with certain weapons out.

Currently only tested using A Familiar Friend - Pip-Boy 2500 - Handheld Pipboy, YAPR, and Handheld Fixes. In theory should work with any handheld (or regular) Pip-Boy. Let me know if there are any issues.


Configuration

By default the mod will only apply to melee weapons. I've only noticed clipping with melee weapons using animation mods, so this option is recommended.

If you have clipping with other weapons there's a MeleeOnly=1 setting under Config\HandheldPipBoyClippingFix.ini. Just change that to MeleeOnly=0 to hide all weapons when the Pip-Boy is opened.
