oh no not another AK. This one though have some cool features. canted sight (both third and first), interior/exterior sounds, etc.

- Description -

My favorite AK, inspired by the one in Insurgency Sandstorm. Now in game thanks to some very cool people. I decide to keep this mod rather "simple" and not fill with attachments and sights that doesn't even get use.

- Features -

- Canted Sight: The Alpha uniques, feature a secondary canted sight that can be switch between via a customizable key. comes with full first and third person animation for extra immersion (NPC will only use normal animation, not canted). The Alpha Unique also have different FOV for each sight.

- Interior and Exterior sound: thanks to sweet6shooter framework, the gun will use different firing sound depends on if you are indoor or outdoor

- Full custom KNVSE set for BOTH first and third person (B42 animations included).

- Levelled list integration

- 3 unique variants

- Upgradeable using the work bench, also you can swap ammo type use also (AK-103 use 5.56mm and the AK-105 use 5mm)


- Installation -

Just install it with your Mod Manager of choice , then activate the ESP. The (optional)
4k uncompressed textures can be use to override the base mod (you would still need to install the base mod).

- Compatibility -

I tried to make this gun as easy to use for everyone as i could. It
shouldn't have really have much incompatibility since it does use a full
custom KNVSE so it doesn't matter which animation set you are using.

- How to use canted sight -

- In the config folder of my mod there is a text document where you can set your custom key to switch to and from canted sight mode. The default key is K

- Enable second sighting node hotkeys: This is a feature that is in Stewie's Tweak, simply search for "iToggleSightingNodeHotkey" in your stewie INI and then set the directx scan code for the key you would like to use in game to switch between the sight to the same key as the one you set in my mod config.

- When in game press the key. do not press the key while in ADS.

NOTE: if the animation and sight get out of sync you can try to get them back into sync by going into ADS and then press the switch key.

Quirks and current known issues:

- Do not switch sight while you are in ADS
- the 3rd person reloads show bullets in both mags at all time, i don't know how to fix this, as it is working fine in first person.
- Do not switch to canted sight too early after you load in game
- the FOV switch does take a couple of try to work the first time after loading in game (just let go off your ADS and try again)
- I'm not a gun nut so don't bother telling or explain to me why this is'nt an ak103 or 105, its a game its not real, i use this model because its nice and whisky gave it to em

- If the animation set and the sighting node go out of sync, go into ADS, press the switch key and then let go of ADS and try again.
