About this mod

This is a little mod that adds Attache Cases, an armor item that you drop, then open manually, to access a secondary inventory. I personally like them, because putting your pack on the ground to get stuff out of it feels immersive, and so that I can have backup chems/magazines/ammo in a disparate inventory, for simplicity in the pip boy.

Overview:
This is a little mod that adds Attache Cases, an armor item that you drop, then open manually, to access a secondary inventory. I personally like them, because putting your pack on the ground to get stuff out of it feels immersive, and so that I can have backup chems/magazines/ammo in a disparate inventory, for simplicity in the pip boy.

Features:
All Attache cases have a slight bonus to incentivize wearing them and engaging with their health values, and to provide a reason for the auto-equip feature they have when you pick them up with the menu.

They improve reload and equip speed by 3/5% for basic vs. advanced cases (Marine, HD), inventory AP cost (if enabled), and AP cost by 5/10%.

The cases do not take up the backpack slot, they can be worn with anything.

Each is purchasable at their respective crafting level requirement's level at the Gun Runners.
If you have TTW installed, you will be able to buy Cases from Durga, the BOS merchant at the Citadel.

Customization:
You can use the setting in the config ini to change their names to Carrying Case ___ instead of Attache Case.
You can also adjust the capacity of each case manually in the config ini.

Requirements:
JIP LN, xNVSE, Johnny, the usual stuff.
Johnny Guitar's load editor ids setting must always be turned on. (It's on by default; don't turn it off. There's no reason to.)

Installation:
Regular installation.

Patches:
TTW functionality included in the main file, esp-requirement free.
As of V5fix3, TTW 3.3 is the only version of TTW that's supported.
Use 5fix2 for TTW 3.2.2 saves.

Compatibility:
Anything.
Highly recommended for use with Armor Damage Overhaul, so that the durability of each item is actually tangible.

Limitations:
Each tier of Attache Case has it's own disparate inventory, but two of the same Attache Case tier will access the same inventory.
Since the base game has an issue with items sometimes falling through the floor when you drop them, I've implemented a safeguard on the cases to make them teleport to you if they're not in an inventory and too far from you. As such, you won't be able to lay these out in a player home for decoration without them constantly teleporting.
