Description:
Rat Race is a multi-celled DUST themed player home set primarily in the long pipe network stretching from Camp Golf to the Vegas outskirts.
Sometime near the end of the 23rd century, in the time of The Fall, the source of Vegas' water supply, Lake Mead, dried completely. Slowly, the Mojave drained and many inhabitants were doomed to die of thirst. And yet others managed to find a way, to live not a humans, but survive as rats. The enormous pipe network stretching from Camp Golf to Vegas now lies silent- but not empty. Pick the locks leading to the bowels of the network, find some way to slink
inside, or take the dangerous route, and venture through to it via a Tunneler Hive.
Enter the tunnels, and begin your new life as a rat.

- 6 new interiors to the Wasteland.
Tunneler Hive, tunneler Themed cave. Balanced for even LV1s. Can by bypassed with 75 lockpick.
Rat Race (3 cells), traverse the pipes between Camp Golf and the East Pump Station, multiple exits / entrances.
Rat Nest, a tiny player home for the dark and disturbed among us. Plenty of storage, bed, campfire, water supply.
Rat Trap, player workshop / dungeon area. Workbench / reloading bench. - New items: Human Stew, Knockout Gas Bomb (Non-lethal Mine) + Ingredients, custom textures.
- Lamps that can be turned on /off.
- 3 notes, heavy emphasis on environmental storytelling and world building in a DUST format.
- Balanced for vanilla, or ENB mods that make the game darker. (Tested on DUST and DUST Melancholy ENB.)
- Functional without DUST.

Update History:
- Version 1.2 2023 release and Mod rebalance.
- [Update] Removed an abundance of loot that could spawn including 3 skill books. Significantly reduced the starting durability of a Flamer pickup.
- [Update] Added methods for obtaining more of the ingredients to make knockout gas bombs. These use Dead Money Gas Bombs to make though, so you'll be quite hard pressed to make more than your initial few.
- [Update] Minor adjustments to the Tunneler Hive to make navigation (especially in the large opening room) much easier. More prop landmarks to get your bearings in. Enhanced lighting in key areas and reduced fog.
- [Fix] Removed the corpse implied to be the Rat King and placed his mask elsewhere in the Rat Trap. I believe this corpse was cause for some players crashing. I also much prefer the implication that the Rat King is still out there somewhere...
- [Fix] Somewhat fixed some of the ugly water present in the Tunneler Hive. Although not great, it's much nicer looking than before. Even a bit more performant too
- [New] Added some small ladders to part of the exterior of the Rat Race. In the event you want to crawl back into the tunnel from the nearby pump station, you can use these to climb back up.
- Version 1.1 release.
- [Fix] Several C class bug fixes. (Tunneler Hive Vera Skeletons for non DUST users corrected, a bear trap in Rat Race High was moved slightly so it's easier to interact with, and Tunneler Hive should no longer have items falling out from the cell.)
