Characters to Choose From


Angara Avenger: with a new look and a new melee weapon.
Angara Engineer: a new class with Overload, Incinerate, and Trip Mine.
Angara Exemplar: with Invasion instead of Barricade for even more combo potential.
Angara Insurgent: now an Infiltrator with Energy Drain, Tactical Cloak, and Concussive Shot.
Angara Sentinel: with Flamethrower, Assault Turret, and Concussive Shot.
Angara Soldier: with Sticky Grenade, Barricade, and Concussive Shot.
Angara Survivalist: with Snap Freeze, Assault Turret, and Incinerate.

Asari Adept: replaces Throw with Warp for a more distance focused fighting style.
Asari Commando: with Barricade, Fortify, and Warp.
Asari Duelist: replaces Charge with Annihilation.
Asari Engineer: with Invasion, Singularity, and Energy Drain.
Asari Huntress: replaces Throw with Nova. She'll take out her prey with precision or take out an entire room just to get to it. Either way, she always gets the job done.
Asari Sentinel: with Warp, Throw, and Overload, she's ready for anything.
Asari Vanguard: with Backlash, Charge, and Singularity.

Batarian Adept: with Singularity, Nova, and Shockwave.
Batarian Engineer: with Overload, Barricade, and Flamethrower.
Batarian Infiltrator: with Invasion, Tactical Cloak, and Frag Grenade.
Batarian Sentinel: with Snap Freeze, Barricade, and Nova.
Batarian Soldier: with Frag Grenade, Fortify, and Flak Cannon.
Batarian Trapper: with Pull, Trip Mine, and Overload. Try and get away.
Batarian Vanguard: with a new look and better Biotics.

Human Artificer: with a new look and Assault Turret instead of Remnant VI.

Human Commando EHA: a Sentinel version of the Commando with Invasion, Turbocharge, and Warp.
Human Adept: with Throw, Singularity, and Warp.
Human Engineer: with Cryo Beam, Remnant VI, and Energy Drain.
Human Infiltrator: with Energy Drain, Tactical Cloak, and Trip Mine.
Human Medic: with Shield Boost, Stealth Grid, and Energy Drain.

Krogan Adept: with Pull, Annihilation, Shockwave and a Biotic focused Rage.
Krogan Engineer: with Overload, Concussive Shot, and Incinerate.
Krogan Fortress: with Shield Boost, Fortify, and Barricade.
Krogan Gladiator: a Sentinel version of the Gladiator with Flamethrower, Annihilation, Barricade and a Biotic focused Rage.
Krogan Infiltrator: with Snap Freeze, Tactical Cloak, Flak Cannon and a special melee. Surprise!!
Krogan Mercenary: with Turbocharge, Fortify, and Flak Cannon.
Krogan Vanguard: with more powerful Biotics and a Biotic focused Rage.

Salarian Adept: with Pull, Throw, and Cryo Beam.
Salarian Architect: a more construct focused version with Remnant VI, Assault Turret, and Invasion.
Salarian Engineer: with Shield Boost, Assault Turret, and Overload.
Salarian Infiltrator: with Sticky Grenade, Stealth Grid, and Recon Visor.
Salarian Operator: with Sticky Grenade, Stealth Grid and Annihilation. He just went a little crazy, but he's okay, everything is fine.
Salarian Sentinel: with Throw, Barricade, and Energy Drain.
Salarian Soldier: with Shield Boost, Turbocharge, and Energy Drain. Come get some!
Salarian Vanguard: with Charge, Tactical Cloak, and Energy Drain. They won't know what hit them.

Turian Adept: with Backlash, Concussive Shot, and Nova.
Turian Agent: with a new look and Turbocharge instead of Flamethrower.
Turian Engineer: with Overload, Cryo Beam, and Incinerate.
Turian Havok Trooper: with a new look and Energy Drain instead of Incinerate.
Turian Sentinel: with Flamethrower, Flak Cannon, and Shockwave.
Turian Soldier: with Barricade, Turbocharge, and Frag Grenade.
Turian Vanguard: with Charge, Turbocharge, and Concussive Shot.


Optional Items

note: Although I tried not upset the game balance, some of these items may make the game slightly easier.


Angara Firaan: Changes the Angara Firaan to a blade that electrically stuns the enemy but does much less damage.

Assault Turret: Replaces the cooldown options with health or damage options.

Avenger Strike: Is successful at replacing the seemingly Biotic effect of Avenger Strike with an Electrical one in the vast majority of instances.

Barricade: Increases the area of the electrical effect slightly.

Base Attributes: Gives a wider range of health, shields, speed, hover, and evade abilities base on the size of the character. Larger characters will move more slowly and have more health, but less shields. The effects of this are subtle and are barely perceptible in gameplay.

Charge: Makes targeting with charge easier and give a small damage resistance bonus to the Shock Trooper option.

Overload: Increases the stun effect duration by 0.5 seconds to match the prime duration. Has a secondary unintended effect of improving the Avenger Strike electrical effect.

Pull: Now primes held enemies.

Recon Visor: Changes Recon visor from a power with a cooldown to a constant on power with a cooldown penalty on other powers (like Annihilation). Now has the option to either increase the vision and penetraion distances  or increase weakpoint damage.

Remant VI: Replaces the cooldown options with health or damage options.

Tactical Cloak: Slightly increases the cloak duration. (Known bug: causes the power to start cooldown upon casting instead of after ending. I have tried to balance for this with a longer cooldown and shorter duration.)


Things to Know

YOU MUST BE THE HOST FOR THE CHARACTERS TO WORK. If you are not the host, their powers will revert to the original powers, unless the host is also using this mod.

The Optional Items will work for you regardless if you are the host or not.

BE A GOOD HOST! Tell those who join you that you are running these mods. They may not want to play a modded match. Try and get a team together before you play where everyone is using this mod with the same Characters and Optional Items selected. This will help prevent problems with running the mod.

You do NOT need to reset your character to use the new powers.


Known Bugs

Some combinations of characters may cause the game to freeze or crash when selecting the character. Loading fewer characters reduces chance of this. Try and only load the character(s) you intend to play.

The new character powers are not shown in the Character Selection menu. The original powers are shown. The new powers can be seen by selecting the character and viewing the Power Selection menu.

Other strange MEA stuff. If you have played the game, you know what I mean.
