Looks great! I can't wait to play this some day, but first I'd have to play the first part, which I installed maybe a year ago but haven't gotten around to playing just yet. I've been, ahem... delayed.

Writing good stories is a sufficient and acceptable excuse for the delay. :) And yes, Aloy had to push a box car down the tracks (she's very strong) and we definitely can sympathize with Mr. Myers.
You should definitely play the first game first. There is a lot of important background that carries forward.

Oh yes, I will definitely play part one before moving on to the second. I prefer to experience the complete narrative, unless I find the earlier games unplayable. I tried to play the earlier Witcher games, but that attempt didn't last for more than one day, so I moved on to The Witcher 3. I also skipped Fallout 1 and Fallout 2 because I loathe turn-base combat, but I can't imagine having those problems with Horizon Zero Dawn.

Wonderful set from this game.   I need to get around to playing the first one one of these days, but might add this one to my library.  Have fun in there.

Thank you. Yes, definitely play the first game first. There is just too much back story that carries forward. You can play Horizon Forbidden West by itself, but frankly, a lot of things wouldn't make much sense. Like fighting WWII without knowing about Pearl Harbor.

Very beautiful music indeed And the game too looks beautiful Ahh - it IS the one with the robots. I thought I recognized the name and her face. But I was not sure.

It's a great sound track. The graphics and setting are excellent and the characters look very real. Some of the trees and plants could use more work, but the rocks would make Dazaster envious.  Yes, this is the game with the mechanical/metal robots -- called machines in game -- that look a little like animals.

Yes , and I am still playing it, hoping to finish it in the weeks to come, as then I will have some more time to play.
Also curious about the fallout 4 extension. Have not played the game for a while, so I'm curious about that one to

Everyone is complaining about the FO4 update. It breaks many of the mods. Fortunately, I kept a backup of the old game and saves and have blocked the update from Steam. I played a little a few days ago just to make sure that all was still good.

Thanks. "A lot to do" -- no kidding. We made one major breakthrough last night only to find that it was just the beginning.

I think you will enjoy it. I'm getting a little deeper into the game and have run into the inevitable: a few of the boring quests and those tedious nearly unsolvable puzzle-like journeys through some twisting, turning buildings. Oh, and a few nearly unbeatable bosses. Nevertheless, I'm still enjoying it very much.

    Gorgeous scenes, Laird.
Beautiful light beaming through the forest in the intro.
Excellent drawn bow shot, and I love the adorable Aloy closeup.
Wonderful sunset in the closer and yes, the world is worth saving but take time to enjoy the lovely sunsets along the way.
    Enjoy!!

Thank you. You're right. We all need to take a little time to smell the roses, and enjoy a sunset.

Thank you. I guess I can afford a few extra dollars, but after it's been out for several years on PS, seems like it ought to be discounted a bit. So I waited.

I get it.  I'd rather pay what I think something is worth.
