About this mod

Batfleck changes: New helmet remeshed (1) carved out eyeholes with actual face w/makeup behind it (2) shorter ears, (3) chin visible.
Also, completely new logo with fiber pattern and scratches, and overall new fabric design.

Version 8.0: Batfleck the Final

Helmet truly movie-remeshed:
  • Eyeholes carved out so that you can see face with makeup. It now functions no different than a Robin fullhelm.
  • Bottom of the facial area pulled back so the chin is visible.
  • Shorter ears


New, movie-like logo:
  • Actual Batfleck logo instead of my older "artistic license"
  • Visible scratches.
  • Distinct carbon fiber fabric. 

The rest of the suit:
  • Noticeable distinctions in fabric by manipulating the "sizes" and "depth" of the same fabric. (They're essentially tileable normal maps)


For both Nightwing and Red Hood(The subtitle changes are not part of this mod but is something I'm about to release separately, by request)

Version 7.1: Subtitle Fun
Change the player's subtitle name to "Batfleck."
Two options. Pick one or the other. Don't pick both:
  • Nightwing to Batfleck
  • Red Hood to Batfleck.

Battle for the Cowl v7.0 - Improved Bathead with Visible Eyes - Keaton/Batfleck for Nightwing

Modified Bathelms (rerigged) for Jason and Dick, respectively
  • The first time we see Dick's eyes in the vanilla Bathead!
  • The Bathead itself - much more proportional/less deformed.
  • Eyes are visible with improved material usage (+ sclera, wetness). Eyes also rotate.
  • TLDR it's like Nightbat's visible eyes.
  • Thus we have...

    • Batarang Dual Wield replacement for Nightwing's Escrima Sticks
    • Pistol replacements for Red Hood
      • Kane SMG (stripped of stock and retextured)
      • Kane Machine Pistol (barebones version of above, no scope, no ironsights)
      • Kane BFG (completely stripped down to conventional handgun)
      • Grenade Launcher (the same one used by the Mob)

Battle for the Cowl V5.5-to-5.6 - Dark Knights of Steel (Continued)
Inspired by the recent comic, Dark Knights of Steel.

V5.6.0 - Dark Knights of New Steel and Boomsticks

Style A - Version 2 - NW and RH

A "mild" re-pass that cleans things up
  • Color coordination as well as clipping
  • Making the armor slightly more subtle...
  • Restarting from scratch but with the same overall goal

New Weapons

  • Boomsticks - Retextured GCPD shotguns (FINALLY)
  • Blades Damascus v2 - No longer turns invisible certain settings, better hand positions, and new coloring (that hugely reminds me of a combat korean sword I used to have)

V5.5.3 - Darker Knights of the Closed Helm (NW + RH Style C)
  • Both in closed helm, dark suits.
  • Includes a new weapon replacement for RH's pistols:
    • Gunblades


V5.5.2 - Darker Knights of Darker Steel (Nightwing - Style B)
  • Nightwing arrives in "Style B" - Darker color scheme.
    • Namely, dark shoulder plates + cowl + cape matching combination with the rest medium-dark.
    • Replaces Nightwing's New Guard/Suit01 Transmog.
  • Includes 2 new weapon replacements for NW's Escrima Sticks:
    • Blades Damascus - Retexture of Talia's katana
    • Bat-Axes - Retexture of Freaks' highest quality Bat (used by Most Wanted)


V5.5.1 - Red Hood (Style A)
  • Red Hood arrives with the same armor style as Nightwing's "Style A"
  • Boomsticks available in another mod. Unless I texture a single barrel Remington..


V5.5.0 - Nightwing (Style A)
  • First suit is Nightwing "Style A" with current "Young Batman" scheme
  • Optional Steel Mace replacements for Escrima Sticks

Battle for the Cowl V5.3 - Keaton-Nightbat and Batcape Physics!
1. Keaton-Nightbat... Finally figured out how to have eyes visible with Nightwing.. Albeit only with the Nightbat helm.

Battle for the Cowl V5.2 - Nightbat Colorway Edition
  • Nightbat colorway friendly version, using Titan/Suit2 (easy transition from KH to Titan)
  • Colorway affects EYEGLOW. The logo and shoulderplates match eyeglow's colorway "slot."
  • In general, De-Michael-Bayified.
  • Two versions provided (two different colorways for default Transmog "overrides")
  • Blue/Black (Asylum)
  • Red/Dark (Todd)

- Keaton's 1989 all black suit.
- Most materials switched to leather and plastic/rubber. (They are tileable normal maps btw)
