This update fixes many typos and re-writes both Enki's intro text and the poem Love and Torment to flow better. It also streamlines ellipses and changes the older gods into the Old Gods. Rather than list all the fixes here, I've included a full changelog for this version along with the data files.
So if you have tried this game in English, you miiiiight have noticed that it wasn't written by a fluent English speaker.
I was frustrated by all of the mistakes in the English translation, so over the past year, I have gone through the game file by file and fixed typos, grammar, apostrophes, and clunky wording. This affects all parts of the main game, as well as Dungeon Nights, and contains tens of thousands of fixes. I tried to be as faithful as possible to the source material, with a few editorial exceptions:
I made Griffith's Le'Garde's lines a little less casual. More "I will not allow that" and less "Not gonna happen."
I changed a line from the knight's backstory that implies the armies of Rondon would leave a surviving child or two to tell the story of what had happened. FYI it's because the original wording was clunky and it refused to fit in the text window no matter what I did. Now, the children were let go 'for sport'. See, it's still depressing! You get to enjoy that.
I re-wrote the crow mauler poem so it rhymes now. As it was, the poem tried to rhyme "behind you now" with "reap what I sow" and that's...not a thing. Now it's "reap what I plow."
I changed out Defence Stance for "Defensive Stance". Come at me, brits, I'm updating this game to be consistently in American English!
Finally, I changed the demon child's birth prompt to say "Name your terrible son." This change should speak for itself.

To install, just unzip the mod file and transfer the www file over to your game's directory, overwriting files when prompted. The path ought to be something like:C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fear & Hunger
