Changelogs
This is the complete version of the same named mod A Realistically Weightless Colored Sorting Mod published in 2016.
ARWCSM was the first icon-coloured sorting mod for FO4.
The mod author, Zenotep was banned soon after its publication, so the mod remained unfinished. I completed it as I was playing.

This mod covers all of the game inventory objects and provides patches for 58 mods, including for 6 DLC size mods, Weaponsmith Extended 2, Armorsmith Extended, Armor Weapon Keywords Community Resource AWKCR, etc...
Most patches are ESL
.
The plugin size is 2.200.000 bytes instead of the original v1.15 file of 1.331.000 bytes.

The screenshots show all there is to know about what is particular to this mod.

Realistically Weightless :
- VANILLA WEIGHTS for: Weapons, Armour and Clothing.
- WEIGHTLESS items:      Everything else.

Two versions:
- For games without Weaponsmith Extended 2.
- For games using Weaponsmith Extended 2
I can't recommend enough that great compilation of weapons mods!

DEF_UI must be installed for the icons used by the tags.

Installation
Normal install with a mod manager.
Sorting mods don't affect savegames and can be activated or deactivated without adverse effect.
When there is no tag to an item or its name is not right, try dropping it then pick it back. Using a workbench to apply a modification also works.

The patches must be installed manually since they are all in a zip file.
If you use MO, just copy the directories of the patches you need in ...\Mod Organizer\mods, then initialize the content with the fifth button top left and place the plugins after the mod they are patching and after this mod plugin.
It should be possible to do the same with Vortex.

About patching:
When you use a mod with a patch tagging its items, it may work with this mod, depending on the tags names.
This mod accepts all brackets [ ] ( ) and { }.
If a mod you are using contains tags or if it has a patch for that, but they are not compatible with this mod tags, it is pretty easy to fix.

Example: For some helmets, this mod uses the tag: [   Helmet] and your mod uses (Helmet).
The best solution is to change (Helmet) into [   Helmet] or (   Helmet) with FO4Edit, that allows to keep all the helmets together.
But you can also edit DEF_INV_TAGS.xml and add your mod tag like this:

( This mod tag:  <tag icon='helm' keyword='   Helmet' hidetag='true'/> )
Your mod tag:  <tag icon='helm' keyword='Helmet' hidetag='true'/>

In the inventory, the tags are sorted by alphabetical order so, in this example, the helmets of your mod would be separated from this mod helmets.
But in other instances it might work well depending on the tag spelling.

You can make requests for a patch if you use a mod with unsorted items. You can also use the very practical Rename Anything. Almost all the inventory items can be renamed.
Method: You can write the appropriate tag before the name of unsorted items. To find the proper tag for an item, look at an equivalent item with a tag by using a workbench or, in the inventory, by using the X key to 'inspect' it in order to display its tag.
In the inventory, highlight the unsorted item and hit X (inspect), then T to add the tag you found.

Incompatibility
The part of 'Less Loot and Ammo' dealing with the ammo is incompatible with Armor and Weapon Keywords Community Resource (AWKCR), except if placed before it. If installed after AWKCR, the ammo name which is displayed next to the gun's name in the inventory won't appear (except for a few calibers).

This sorting mod replaces the original ARWCSM which was originally part of a three mods set that provides colours for the other parts of the interface and a better zoom for the map.
1Gold Kit for Color Pipboy -anti-Black and White Screen-
Provides colours in the pipboy screens for quests and other animations, drawings and some text. Colours also the tabs and tags in the Barter/Container/Workbench screens.
To display colours, it removes the green monochrome layer in the pipboy which allows also for the use of coloured maps.
The screenshots show the inventory screen with both mods installed.

There are four mods (I know of) related to Gold Kit. One is a fix, one is an add-on and the two others provides better colours for some animations.
Status Effects Fix for Gold Kit for Color Pipboy (no ESP)  Fixes a display bug.
Gold Kit for Color Pipboy - For DLCs only  Completes GKCP by providing colours to the animations GKCP doesn't cover (DLCs obviously).
Interface Components in colors (no ESP) Better colours for the Perks, SPECIAL, Status animations, Mags and 2 quests.
OR
Ultimate Colored Vault Boy Animations Overhaul (no ESP) Better colours for the Perks, SPECIAL and Status animations.
You can mix the best files of both mods and add them manually.

2Zoom-out Extended for World and Local Maps
Frees the zoom and displays coloured text in the map screen. It is not related to this mod, only to Gold Kit.
IMPORTANT: The 1.4 version available on Nexus is incompatible with the actual game version 1.10.163.
In Miscellaneous Files, you'll find my 1.5 version of Z-o E compatible with 1.10.163.
The two choices are exclusively for the 'Satellite World Map - Coloured Version - 8k Resolution' map and displays standard size
or half size map markers (better). Both are coloured.
If you prefer to use a 2K, a 4K or another 8K map, there is more choice with one mod that fixes version 1.4 of Z-o E or with a clone.

Here is the loading order to use both in the mods and the plugins panels:
- DEF_UI 1.5.1 (no plugin)
- Gold Kit for Color Pipboy -anti-Black and White Screen- 1.11
- Status Effects Fix for Gold Kit for Color Pipboy  (no plugin)
- Gold Kit for Color Pipboy - For DLCs only 1.0
- Interface Components in colors  (no plugin)    OR   Ultimate Colored Vault Boy Animations Overhaul 0.1.4  (no plugin)
- A Realistically Weightless Colored Sorting Mod - Ultimate

- Zoom-out Extended 1.5 (in Miscellaneous Files)  - Can be placed anywhere provided no other mod edits the same file (MapPage.swf).
- Satellite World Map - Coloured Version - 8k Resolution - This must be placed among the latest plugins. If not, depending on the other mods installed, the map markers risk being misplaced.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Small things about weight:
- The Pipboys are weighted (1.0) and you probably pick some while playing (At some point, I was carrying ~15 of them).
- "Standard Buzz Blade Mod" has no reference in 'Misc. Item'. So it is not possible to remove its weight (0.5) and it has no tag.
You only get it when you upgrade that weapon. Items without a tag appear top of the list, so they are easy to spot.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The patches would almost certainly remain compatible with new versions of the mod they are patching.
