About this mod

My attempt to reduce the INSANE recoil of Barrett M82A1 in Combined Arms Pack - both on animations and ESP plugin configures. Comes with 3 long see-through scopes based on the originals.

Intro

The Barrett M82A1 anti-material rifle is a outstanding part of the Combined Arms Weapon Pack in regards to both its quality and recoil when shooting enemies at far. The animations are well depicted as they are from Modern Warfare, but I think they do not quite suit well in Fallout 4 mostly due to the disparity of how scopes function in both games - it's badass and looking amazing though it lacks a bit consistency in dealing with slow however deadly abominations in Boston.

Therefore, I decided to work out a reasonable solution for this small flaw - tweaks on firing and moving animations when aiming. The original ones will either skyrocket or jiggle heavily in combat, this alt version makes the rifle much more stable and flatten the recoil effect. Also, I made a new animation for mine throwing based on grenade tossing (not shown in the video because it's not the key point of this small mod).

Another incentive of making this is that for hot weapons like this deserves supports on see-through scopes, although people might find them hard to implement with that insane recoil. This mod adds 3 of them integrated and not conflicting with the original long-range scopes. DO NOT use them if you decide not to install the animation tweaks because they will look waaaaaaaaaay more wonky than in video demonstration.

Installation

Use mod manager or manually.

Also it's HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you install Stop shaking in ADS to avoid additional jiggling in vanilla game that somehow makes scopes look slightly wonky.

Notice

The 3 see-through scopes are made mainly around FOV 80 - 100. Less/Greater FOV setting might result in oversized/overshrinked visual displays.

People using FOV Slider and Player Height and have adjusted FOV setting using it will be likely to encounter weird scope sizes in the game. Using console command and other mods (like Custom Camera which is my way) is recommended. (Still investigating)

Files are separated in the download tab. Grab both if you want them all.
