Integrates the M60 Light Machinegun into the Weaponsmith Extended universe - including Vis-G, damage buff, New Calibers, leveled list injection and some fixes (there is an additional patch to use it without Weaponsmith Extended)

This one was really tricky. I needed to write a replacement instead of a patch. Basically I rebuilt most of the .esp.
But don't get me wrong: I would not have invested so much time in it if I wouldn't find Davis' and Wardaddy's mod such a great weapon, really adding fun to the game. ...Great shout-out to them for creating the original mod!
 
Features:

  • light plugin - does not take up a mod slot (actually it changes the original mod to be a light plugin)
  • Adds Vis-G tags for all assets of the mod
  • Buffs the damage...it is not more powerful than a WSE Vindicator or so, but half way between an Assault Rifle and a Minigun  ...should fit right into the pool of WSE weapons
  • Randomized how the gun will spawn (receivers, scopes, mags, muzzles, barrels, etc.)
  • Added a new set of New Calibers ammo conversion mods - with the assumption that the original weapon uses 7.62mm ammo
  • Removed some unused assets (e.g. a loading screen that did not work and similar)
  • Weapon spawns with different ammo types (7.62mm Nato, .223 Remington, .30-06 Springfield, .308 Winchester, .338 Lapua, .50 BMG, 5.56 Nato, 7.5 Swiss, 7.62x39mm, 7.62x54 Rimmed, 7mm Mauser, 8mm Mauser, FN 5.7x28mm)... I am no weapons expert. So I hope I picked the right ones for your taste as well.
  • Buffs the value of the gun at vendors to be compatible to WSE guns
  • Reduces fire speed a little bit so that it fits better to other WSE guns and does not outperform a minigun
  • Repaired the modding possibilities for the fore-grip and the front sight
  • Removed the overwriting of standard leveled lists (as it conflicts with Weaponsmith Extended) and replaced it with a scripted leveled list injection, so that it will now spawn on gunners, as legendary weapon and as a rare item at gun vendors from level 35

 
Installation:
  • via NMM/Vortex (or put the .esp to your Data folder and activate it)
  • Install after the original mod - will overwrite the .esp file only (and thereby make it a light mod)
  • I used the script from the Leveled List Injection Toolbox and added it to the installation package. In case your mod manager asks you to overwrite an existing script it should not matter whether you say "yes" or "no" - as long as the other mod also uses the original script, like I did
 
Compatibility/Load Order:
  • No compatibility issues - only overwrites entries added by the original mod (and removes all overwrites the original mod did)
  • Place it after AWKCR and New Calibers in your load order
  • Attention: I re-numbered the FormIDs to make it a light mod. This means: you cannot use any additional patches for the original mod if you use my patch (with the exception of pure texture replacers). However, I did my best to do everything all other patches currently online do and improve on it. (let me know if I missed anything relevant)
  • Technically this mod does not need Weaponsmith Extended installed, however without WSE the gun will be overpowered. --> there is a special additional file to de-buff the damage so that it fits into a game without Weaponsmith Extended. (You will still need AWKCR, and New Calibers to use my patch - and it will be expensive at vendors)
