Like some others have commented, this mod would change the interface but not display the full lines of text after the start of the game. I finally figured out that the issue (for me) is the mod "no longer Lookup failed for the vault 111 suit", which I installed to solve another issue while I was still in vault 111.
What I did: Disable both of these mods, then reinstall Full Dialog Interface. That's it. You may not even need to reinstall it. It may be enough just to disable the second mod (try it and let us know if it works), but this is what I did. I hope this will help some people.
