FAQ
Q1: What do the DAIMM and frosty in the file names mean?
A1: DAIMM = version of the mod for people using dai mod manager.
Frosty = version of the mod for people using frosty mod manager.

Q2: Do I need to use both the DAIMM and frosty versions of the mod at once?
A2: No, there's no reason to do that.

Q3: What is the difference between the no falling snow and no snow in face files?
A3:  No Falling Snow At All - disables all snow falling from the sky completely, except for those caused by explosions or impacts.

No snow in face - some snow remaining -
disables only the main snowflakes that tended to get into people's faces. some background          snowflakes may still be seen behind the character at times. note this will reduce the amount of snowflakes falling in world, so the
snowflake spread will be sparser.

Q4: Do I need to use both the no falling snow and no snow in face files at the same time?
A4: No, use one or the other.

Q5: Will this disable
all snow-related animations?
A5: No. Neither of the files will do this, the mod is specifically only for snow falling from the sky, so there will still be animations for things             like snow reacting to explosions or impacts, snow from cold weapons (I think), footprints in the snow, stuff like that.

Q6: Will this disable snow that has already fallen (i.e snow that is on the ground or on top of something)?
Q6: No, this is just for currently falling snow.

Q7: Will this work on the blizzard?
A7: Yes, the no falling snow file will disable all falling snow in the blizzard, whilst the no snow in face file will reduce the amount of the snow         in the blizzard.

Q8: Will this work in emprise-du-lion, the frostback mountains, and haven?
A8: Yes, the no falling snow file will disable all falling snow in these areas, whilst the no snow in face file will reduce the amount of the snow         in these areas.

Q9: Will this work on cutscenes?
A9: On normal cutscenes (which is most cutscenes in the game): yes. On pre-recorded cutscenes (which is only a handful of cutscenes in      the game): no.

The difference between the two is that normal cutscenes have the physical 3d models and textures of the scenery, characters and          props loading onto your screen and re-enacting the storyline in real time. Whereas pre-recorded ones are videos that were recorded                ahead of time and thus they do not look to nor use the in-game 3d models or textures, so no mods are ever present in those types of              cutscenes.

Q10: Will this work in DLC?
A10: I don't think(???) there is any falling snow in the DLC even on an unmodded game, but it should work in the DLC in that it shouldn't            cause the game to stop responding or infinite load.

If there is any falling snow in DLC you've spotted that you think this mod has missed, let me know.

Q11: I downloaded the dai mod manager version of the no falling snow file and it's not working.
A11: Make sure you installed both parts of the dai mod manager version. The dai mod manager download has 2 files within the .rar file -          part 1 and part 2 - both files need to be applied in order for the falling snow to be removed on dai mod manager.

Q12: Why does the dai mod manager version of the no falling snow file come in 2 parts but the frosty mod manager version doesn't?
A12: I had to split the dai mod manager version into 2 parts to ensure better DLC compatibility. I didn't have to do this with the frosty version
because it was already DLC compatible as one part.

Q13: Why did you make this mod?
Q13: Because sometimes I want screenshots of my characters in haven or emprise-du-lion, but the snowflakes get in the way.

Conflicts
Will conflict with any other mods that edit the snowflakes. Currently, the only one I know of is Kittentails - Falling Snow Texture Change.
