This mod includes a D3D9.dll which will convert the game to using Vulkan instead of the default DirectX9 renderer. This enables performant usage of Reshade. Learn more about DXVK here: https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/releases/tag/v2.3

As the brief overview stated, this mod brings these enhancements:

-Raytraced Global Illumination for excellent bounce lighting from light sources such as torches, lamps, etc. Makes for more realistic lighting indoors and outdoors.
Plus, since I'm using a freely available RTGI shader, you don't need to subscribe to any patreon or anything to use the shader. It'll be installed automatically when using my preset.

-Temporal Anti Aliasing instead of the in-game anti aliasing which wasn't too great. This will cut down on aliasing and provide a clearer image.

-Subtle Depth of Field for a more cinematic look, since there's often detail in the distance that looks quite bad and this DoF effect just takes the edge off enough that they aren't as noticeable anymore. Easily turned off in the Reshade UI if you want.

-Massively improved Ambient Occlusion, using Marty McFly's IMMERSE MXAO solution.

-Also includes the AmbientLight.fx shader and FGFX Large Scale Perceptual Obscurance Irradiance shader, which both combine to provide a more cohesive image where it looks like everything on screen fits in the scene more naturally than by default.

Installation:
1. Download the rar file for this mod
2. Extract it to your \Dragon Age Origins\bin_ship\ folder
3. Download Reshade here: https://reshade.me/#download
4. launch the Reshade installer and choose your DAOrigins.exe inside your bin_ship folder
5. then select Vulkan
6. when it asks for a preset file, choose the daoRT.ini file inside your bin_ship folder
7. now it will download the shaders you need. complete the setup
8. Download the 4GB exe patcher here so DAO can access up to 4GB of memory: https://ntcore.com/4gb-patch/
9. pop the 4gb patcher exe in your bin_ship folder, and run it. it'll ask you to choose the DAOrigins.exe. Now it's patched. Done.
10. That's it! Launch the game and open the Reshade menu with the Home key. You can turn on performance mode at the bottom right. Turning it off lets you modify the shader settings if you so please.

Hope you enjoy!
