Set in both the heart and outside of City 17, "The Citizen Returns" contains the final chapters of our citizen's story, as well as an updated version of Part II. The story takes place shortly after a failed assassination attempt on Dr. Breen leads to the first ever use of the Overwatch Broadcast system by The Resistance, represented by former garage owner Larry Soderstrom. The Combine forces decide to capture him and try to use his public repentance and execution as a means to appease the emergent rebellion. The Citizens of City 17 however have other ideas in mind. Larry is now a symbol for the rebellion and a key asset in a bigger plot to deal a fatal blow to the Combine and its grip on humankind...

The mod is listed as a HL2 Ep2 mod. I've never tried to play it without Ep2 installed so I'm not sure if there's any way to play without it.

who in his messed up mind created the casino part?? xD Just joking that was an amazing part but so out of place compared to the rest of the game (in a good way). The hanged people were disturbing but the scariest part was when you were approaching the banging door and you suddenly hear footsteps and 'something' walking past by you behind the stained glass. Not knowing what that was really makes it uncomfortable. Even though the 'creature' was scary enough I couldn't imagine how it would fit inside the hl2 world. What even was that? Sorry for the long post the casino really surprised me. :D

Bonjour, Je n'arrive pas a mettre le jeu sur steam. Je l'ai télécharger sur ce site, j'ai extrait le fichier. Et enfin j'ai copier coller dans le dossier sourcemod, je lance steam: Rien, pas de nouveau jeu dans ma bibliothèque et j'ai installer plusieurs outils et retenter, toujours rien. Quelqu'un pourrait m'aider dans "l'installation" ou comment lancer le mod? (C'était bien pratique quand même desura a l'époque ou il installait des mod)

Il n'y a rien d'autre a faire. Peut-être t'as le dossier 'sourcemod' au lieu de 'sourcemods' ?

had been waiting for part 3 for a while, found it was released as "returns" and i'm sad to say i'm a bit disappointed.
it was more just an expansion of part 2 which in my opinion doesn't work well because the part where you rescue larry was a great climax for part 2. returns however, doesn't seem to have a climax. the ending was underwhelming with the lack of any kind of "boss" and very little action in all of the water facility.
i've been following this series since the beginning and i'm truly sad that this is the ending of it.
There was never a "Part 3" planned or advertised as such. The Citizen Returns is exactly what we had planned as a sequel to The Citizen. All of the maps in this release already existed when we released Part II.
I do agree that a boss battle would've been a better conclusion. There just wasn't any point to adding another gunship or strider encounter, let alone use Dr Breen etc.
