Medieval II: Total War: Kingdoms mod |

Set in the Late Victorian Era, Steam & Steel: Total War features 30 factions and 5 sub-factions from the British Empire to the Sultanate of Aceh. The global campaign contains hundreds of meticulously researched regions, as well as unique political, economic, social and AI mechanics. The weapons and tactics of the era are well represented with 500 unique units each equipped with distinct weapons from jingals to howitzers. The culmination of years of development, research and testing, S&S will remain an active project; continuing in its aim of popularizing the history of the late 19th century.

Submod released:

A submod has been created by Miscoozi, which changes unit cards to the style of fire and maneuver and the more modern total war series. This and future submods can be found pinned in the channel submods in the Steam & Steel discord.

Update Delayed:

The Steam & Steel team would like to apologise for the delay in releasing update v1.1. While the update was originally planned for Oct 31st, the ambitious nature of our new features has led to unanticipated issues and consequent workload overruns. In view of the previous update having already fixed most bugs and our aim of releasing only tested content, we have elected to delay the release. Specific dates cannot be provided, but we guarantee that the update will come as soon as possible and before 2024. Apologies for any disappointment caused.
