In current anomaly you only lose weapon durability from skinning. A script by Utjan uses ray-casting to tell if your swing contacts anything and you lose differing durability amounts depending on what you contact with.

The 3 anomaly axes have been cut down to only 1 axe. Obtainable from T1 of the less formal faction traders. The axe loses durability at a medium rate and can be repaired with sharpening stones. It is fairly strong and can kill most helmet-less enemies with one heavy swing to the head. Has 3 light attack variants(1 unique), 1 heavy
Slightly stronger axe, can stun enemies although most unarmored enemies wont survive a heavy swing anywhere. Loses durability very slowly but cannot be repaired. Obtainable from T3 of most less formal factions.
The junk item shovels you can find around the map in breakable boxes etc are now usable as melee, along with a new version, the Sharpened Shovel. All shovels lose durability very fast and can not be repaired. Both the Old & Military shovels can be right clicked to sharpen them into a sharpened shovel as long as you have a sharpening stone of at least 3 uses in your inventory. The Sharpened Shovel still can not be repaired, loses durability just as fast but does the same damage as the axe. Has 3 light attack variants(1 unique), 1 heavy

This addon is currently shipping with the latest versions so loading it last will be fine but
I do highly recommend you remove them from most mods & make these scripts their own addon in MO2

question: im not sure this is from ur mod or not, but..i use ur mod with raven's - NPC Close Combat Enhanced, every time i gave my companion shovel, he tried to smash enemies with it...at 20+ meters away..and like stuck in animation over and over. but not happening with vanilla melee weapons. is it incompatibility?

the mod does not touch any spawn settings related to shovels in any way
all it does is make the shovels that are already in-game as a junk item, now usable as a melee weapon.
Im sure you could mess around with the junk item spawn rates if you personally find to many

All individual components like the slow motion(hitstop) are completely standalone and chosen on install
If you dont want the slow-motion make sure the hitstop component isnt checked when installing
When I firstly saw the blocking feature I thought it also applies to knifes 😅

In case it's not obvious, the scripts from this mod supersede the scripts from Barry's Better Knives (install this mod after BBK and ignore the conflicts).
Also, this addon changes icons for melee weapons. This change conflicts with any other icon addon and will override most icon addons (because the DLTX file name mod_system_zzBarryMeleeRework.ltx has higher sorting value than most other DLTX names due to "zz" after "system"), regardless of the order in which addons are placed in ModOrganizer. That being said, it's a "clean" conflict - you just get different icons than you might have expected.
Hello friend, sorry, I'm not sure if this topic was already covered in previous comments, but what happens is the following, I am using the (NEW Meles DLTX) complement from the mod Moddb.com and I have a problem. Apparently the axes, baseball bats, and shovels of this mod use the vanilla animations, what happens is that when you install your ax resuscitation mod, the animations of these new dltx melee weapons are broken, some are seen upside down as if He would wield from the sharp edge. Do you have any idea how I can fix it?
yep, you can reposition all of those weapons manually
I didnt bother because i think that mod is just a low quality bloat pack, use at your own discretion with my mods, it has bad interactions with more then just this mod.

It would be cool if a file could be used to sharpen a shovel. A realism addon called Misterkat's Realism Addon makes files useless for repairing parts, but it would be cool if items like that and duct tape had more practical uses and recipes.

I love this mod and the slow down effect gives me that Killing Floor vibe. I do have to ask though, is it really intended for melee weapons to lose durability when you swing at nothing?
the script that checks what youre weapon is contacting requires the most up to date modded exes, if youre swinging at the air and its loosing durability, update your exes

Well your error clearly says its an issue with the bind_crow.script and 0 of my mods have a bind_crow.script in them and whatever the kukri is certainly isnt a vanilla anomaly weapon or one added by any of my mods so im not sure what you want me to do about this, its not my mods problem.

Currently they all seem to use knife impact sound, is it possible to give axes, hammer and shovels their own sounds, or at least one common impact sound different from the knives?

Hi, installed your mod and I have a small problem, a stalker asked me to bring him a shovel as a quest and damn I can't give him the shovel....
For some reason there seems to be an issue with binoculars. Installing this mod with MO2 (no conflicts) and the binoculars after being zoomed in with remain up high like the character is about to zoom in. This only stops when moving. It does not do this in vanilla.
How can I fix this or uninstall on an existing save? If I try disabling the mod now it crashes with the expected error it is looking for the model of the weapons added. I just want to remove it and really don't want to lose the progress on my save.
