A radio extension mod for Anomaly that expands on the existing concept, and adds unique faction radios. This version includes a curated, and mastered audio pack.
ATTENTION ALL: I've tested the addon multiple times with the latest patch - everything is working as intended. As mentioned below, you always need to start a new game when installing this mod. It's unavoidable, because it changes the all.spawn file.

Compatibility Patch 1: Anomaly Version 1.5 (Beta 3.0)
This is the first patch that I am making available to make my addon compatible with the 3.0 beta. A new game is required if you want to hear any of the the radio stations labelled as "new" below!
- If you have already downloaded to mod for v 1.4, make sure you download this zip file, and overwrite the required file.
- If you have not already downloaded the mod, download it as normal, and apply the above patch.
I will be following the updates that the devs post, and updating the addon accordingly. I will also be updating and remastering the files with the following fixes:
- Fixing sound quality where possible;
- Adjusting the volume of some stations;
- Fixing the sound sources of some stations (eg: the bandit radio will now come from a megaphone, and not a portable radio);
- Attempting to set schedules for when the radios play (they won't play 24 hours a day);
- Attempt to stop them from playing when a blowout occurs;
- Add a few more locations, depending on realistic placement.
What this mod does
This mod creates unique and lore-friendly radio stations for all factions located within the Zone. It should work with version 1.4 of Anomaly, but also the beta versions of 1.5 available on Anomaly's Discord server. It is a blend of many Russian and English compilations, which have been re-worked and properly commented for Anomaly by me, and Music Producer, Carl Mylo who has graciously offered to assist in mastering the audio. Full credits are listed below.
Note: This mod requires a new game
Stations Included
At the moment the current faction radio stations include:
- *NEW* Bandit's Hangar - Garbage (mix of hardbass and "vulgar-y" type fun Russian songs);
- *NEW* Monolith Cultural Palace - Pripyat (plays a sad sermon by the Monolith faction, desperate to remake contact with The Monolith);
- *NEW* Sakharov's Bunker - Yantar (a selection of classical orchestral, and opera pieces);
- *NEW* Skadovsk Ship - Zaton (A large mix of Russian and international songs, mostly from Eastern Europe. A diverse mix to please the many different Stalkers out there);
- Mercenary Base – Dead City (mix of gruff Russian and International songs, suggesting a diverse, experienced group);
- Freedom Base – Yanov Station (laid-back mix of modern Russian rock, reggae and 70's-80's songs);
- Freedom Base – Army Warehouse (same as above);
- Duty Megaphones – Rostok (Russian classics, sharing a similar taste to the mercenaries and military, mixed with Russian radio DJ Tridognait, who comments on the events of the Zone);
- 100 Rads Bar – Rostok (mix of international and Russian ballads);
- Sid's Bunker - Cordon (mostly classic 70's and 80's Soviet songs);
- Bandit Stronghold – Dark Valley (mix of hardbass and "vulgar-y" type fun Russian songs);
- Forester's Lodge – Red Forrest (big band jazz and classics from all over the world);
- Clear Sky's Base – Great Swamp (a massive mix of eclectic genres and tastes to show that the group was nearly wiped out, and has drawn help from every demographic it can manage!); and
- Military Base – Agroprom (classic 70's and 80's Russian and Ukrainian songs, along with more modern guitar and rock songs from Eastern Europe).
Versions of the mod
NOTE: There will be two versions of this mod.
This is the Full Version of the mod. It contains over 40 full-length songs per faction, and will match the descriptions provided above. There is over 7 hours of unique music included!
The Beta Version is already released, and only provides a skeleton for the radio stations, so that you can add your own music according to your own tastes. It does not include the 4 new stations.
Thanks for your feedback and comments! :)

Hi, is work going on for RC updates?

Bit of a noob when it comes to Anomaly mods (really anything STALKER related), but does this require anything if I just dl it and install it. (For 1.5.1 if that needed clarifying)
So I took the plunge and ctd'd on starting a new game; have Boomsticks and Sharpsticks weapon mod, Yet Another Winter Mod, Food Drugs and Drinks animations, JSRS sound overhaul, T.H.A.P mod (it just adds hd arms iirc) Hollywood FX (if you're deciding to install it with Y.A.W.M. make sure to install the compatibility patch in YAWM's thing, if it was any of those (all but the Boomsticks and Sharpsticks weapon mod makes little to no sense since B.S. affects anything outside of textures and whatnot (at least from a cursory glance from someone with nill experince))
Mate, this is the old version of the mod.. it's definitely not compatible with newer versions of anomaly because it changes engine files.
Full of absolutely immersion breaking western songs from cartoons. I don't know how this managed to get into the GAMMA default modlist.
