QoL mod that implements different item visuals for each rarity of dead stalker's PDAs when you equip and look at their 3D model. A common PDA will have PDA 1.0 model, the first PDA. An uncommon PDA will have the PDA 2.0 model. And a rare PDA will have the PDA 3.1 model.
(Now with corresponding inventory icons as an option)
Just drop in Anomaly folder, conflicts with any mods that change items_devices.ltx.

Dead Stalker PDA inventory icons now represent which PDA model they use.
Now those PDAs don't use the standard PDA icon, they now use the PDA1.0, PDA2.0, and PDA3.0 Icons in the inventory.(DOES NOT CONFLICT WITH ICON CHANGING ADDONS, MAKES IT SO THAT THEY ONLY USE THE SAME ICONS AS REGULAR PDAs)

In the game, when you find dead stalker PDAs they all seem the same.
However, not exactly.
There are three different types of PDAs.
1. common
2. uncommon
3. rare
How do these rarities affect them?
They affect the reward amount when you turn them into a trader.
The reward calculated is dependent on TWO variables.
The rarity of the PDA.
The state of the PDA. (If it has junk, junk state and so on for info state, encrypted state, or the strelok state.)
The reward calculator gives a number to each rarity and state.
It will multiply the rarity by the state.
And so forth the resulting number will be multiplied by a random number between 350 and 900.
(rarity*state)(random number between 350-900) = reward amount
The result of that will be your reward amount.

Using that logic
If you turn in a PDA that's common(1) and has info(1.5)
You're gonna receive a maximum amount of 1350 or minimum amount of 525
But if you turn in a PDA that's rare(3) and has JUNK info(1)
You're gonna recieve maximum amount 2700 or minimum amount of 1050
All those PDAs use the same model.
From your perspective, when you turn in a PDA, you could experience that a PDA with info gives you 1350,
yet this another PDA with junk gives you 2700.

(Only displays certain text by state, never by rarity. There is text actually based
only rarity, but it's never used. It now only goes by state.)
The main takeaway here, you don't know how that shit makes any sense, and you're left wondering, why did this PDA with good info give me less than the other PDA with junk info?
This could plant the idea that, regardless if it had info or junk, that reward amount is completely random.
When it's not.
So my solution to this, gameplay wise, is implementing item visuals for each rarity when you equip and look at their 3D model. (And now their inventory icon, if you included that option with v2.0)
A common PDA will have PDA 1.0 model, the first PDA.

Shouldn't need to, it only changes one file.
Check if it conflicts with any mod that changes items_devices.ltx.
It most likely would if you have a lot of mods, I'd be happy to make a patch for it.
I still had the savegame in which I returned to Rostok with 22 pda, did I see any change in 22 pda's?
In my case the file "items devices ltx" from B&S, Artefact Overhaul and Headlamp 50m conflicts.
I really like the idea, but there are too many addons that I cannot do without.

v2.0 now changes their icons as well.
I'll make patches B&S, Artefact, and headlamp at the latest within 13 hours, must go to work lol. B&S and artefact I know conflict.
I don't understand if you mean the icons, I use the addon "revisions of icons" (by Maximilyan) and the 4K 3D PDA addon, but with them there is no conflict, that seems to me ......
There is no conflict because it doesn't actually change the icons.
I modified it so that it just uses the same icons as the corresponding PDA, so icon changing mods don't conflict.

Change the 20 value to 50 (for 50 meters - or set it to whatever you like)

I don't understand what I should install, I have a conflict with "Artifact Renovation" and "Headlamp 50m", I need both patches (main + icon change), but how do I install them? the 2 and overwrite? I use JSGME, I would appreciate your help.
As I said in the read me file, if one mod doesn't have a patch for the other mod, then they won't work, unless there's a combination patch included in the patch files.
You have to merge the conflicting file between Artifact Renovation and Headlamp 50m.
Use Winmerge.

I would try to install if patching this wouldn't have to be a real nightmare, since I practically have all these mods conflicting due to use of EFP 2.0 pack. I do know how to patch, but it would be more work than patching my whole folder, which is already extensive.
Is it necessary to install the B&S patch (from B&S Patch folder) after I install Artifact Renovation + B&S patch (Artefact Renovation Patch folder).
You said "choose the one you installed last"; I installed last was ArtefactRenovation + B&S + TradeComplete patch so according to description of your mod,"if one mod doesn't have a patch for the other mod", Artifact Renovation + B&S patch (from Artefact Renovation Patch folder), should not work or work but will conflict with Trader complete mod.

Sorry if its a bit confusing. You don't have to do B&S patch after Artifact Renovation plus B&S. Trader complete shouldn't conflict, as this mod only changes one file, "gamedata\configs\items\items\items_devices".
If you have AR and B&S, just install
