WHAT IS THIS?

“QC: Doom Edition” is a mod that brings the weapons from the latest Quake game, into Doom, with delicious pixelated flavor. More than just weapons, it also brings the “Champions” mechanic -- different player classes, each one with unique status, speed, active and passive abilities

Did you know that the primary point of balance for any of the champions, is trying to making sure they're balanced for duel. Duel is such a tremendously competitive mode, where every aspect of a champion gets exploited to the max, to get an advantage over your adversary.

As such, we're always very interested to see how players adapat and use the tools they're given in this mode, and having anothe duel tournament is a win-win-win

Developers win: By learning how the players use these tools, and finding the real bad exploits

there's no batch file included, when i launch the exec it just goes straight to doom, and i don't know what command to add to the string for the shortcut to get around that. I've tried in both gzdoom and zand.

for those who do not know how to play deathmatch do the following:
open "QCDE-Aeon + QCDEmaps.bat"

in the game menu:
ALL OPTIONS / Multiplayer Options / Offline Skirmish. and there they have to configure the game as you like.

LEVEL: use the maps: aeon01-33, qcde01-07.
GAME MODE: deathmatch-team deathmatch.
and finally BOT SETUP: to add the number of bots.

Download the main package "QC: Doom Edition v1.0.2 (Full release)". It does have 3 bat files.

Just unpack in your folder where a doom2.wad is located, along with either engine, and the bat will run the mod.

I tried downloading but it doesn't look there's any .bat files. Did you upload the wrong zip?

strange, the only files in the zip i'm getting from this link are:

either way, i got it working, i forgot to edit the wad load sequence in my .ini
however, now i don't see anmy option for multiplayer in the menu, and/or a way to access the map paks here, even though i've written them in the wad load sequence.

the last thing you are is an idiot. i forget things here and there as well. but i do have to ask you, i am in love with your iteration of blood covenant, and am working on something "kinda" like QC myself, but it uses q3 cpma. i have been scouring the net endlessly looking for someone who's made a blood covenant for quake live, but alas, nothing. so i am curious if you'd mind if i used your wad to try to convert it to a bsp and then use blender to try to add as many details as possible to it, including pots, uneven surfaces, stained glass windows with a full moon skybox and moonlit reflections, etc.. i want to see how far i can push q3. so i figured, since you got it pretty much perfect that your map would be a good starting platform to build on. i'm a noob, forgive me for not understanding how it works, if it's even possible to do that. i've seen some great looking maps for q3 and i feel like theres a lot of potential. here's a link to my project, if you feel it has potential please let me know. i actually started doing this back in nov '17. btw i love your soundtrack and was just listening to it in the background while i played lol Youtube.com

This is great, it's finally here! Would you be able to post recommended single player wads for the Quake Monster sets for scaredy scrubs like me? I'm having one heck of a time finding fitting maps.

the plutonia experiment works nicely with it.
currently having a run with quake1&2 monsters in normal: lots of monster difficulty (the 3rd difficulty) with doomguy.
it can be quite challenging on some maps tho so save often.
(it is especially difficult in the maze level)
